When casting any spell, the Sorcerer's eyes will glow with a pale white light and their mana mark will light up on their face though there are practices of magic that can suppress or hide this from prying eyes. Mana Marks tend to be similar designs following the lineage and have similarities between family members with the same color but no two are identical (with the exception of twin sorcerers like Chris and Christina, though Christina's unique origins may also play into this and may not be true of all Twin Sorcerers)
A Unique marking that appears around their left eye and glows in the color of their bloodline whenever they purposely activate it or whenever they are casting some form of magic. In addition to the bloodline which defines which type of magic the sorcerer in question will most excel at, all sorcerers have what is referred to as a Mana Mark. There are no known cases of a Mixling child having no magic at all. Sorcerers born to only one Magic parent and one Non-Blood Parent are called Mixlings but will inherit the bloodline from their magic side parent. A Sorcerer born to parents of two different bloodline will have a 50/50 chance of being born as either one. One's Bloodline is based on their lineage. The Nine existing bloodlines are: Gold (Yellow), Silver (Grey) Bronze (Orange) Diamond (White), Obsidian (Black), Ruby (Red), Emerald (Green), Amethyst (Purple), and Sapphire (Blue). Commonly these bloodlines are used to categorize the type of magic used in certain cases and are casually referred to by the color of the Aura that appears when casting it but formally they are referred to as a mineral. A Bloodline is a specific lineage of magic that focuses on a few specific aspects. These were the founders of the Arcane Society as its stand today.Īll Sorcerers (and arcane creatures) who wield magic are able to cast practically all forms of magic but each one also has what is known as a Bloodline. The Watchers then granted these non-bloods their powers and taught mastery over magic tasking them to fight many beasts and face challenges in the Overworld. All sorcerers are descendants of those known as champions who were once Nonblood or Non-Magic folk who were selected by the higher beings known as the Watchers and brought to their home realm of the Overworld. Magic as it is understood in the SapphireFoxx Universe is a power held by the hidden society of Sorcerers who are able to channel the energies of magic in different ways to perform feats seen as supernatural.
